Financial model work

For this next part of the project, you need to create a financial model using Google Sheets.  Spreadsheets are used to work out the costs, revenue (income) and whether the company is making a Profit or a Loss.  If the company is making a loss, then changes can be made, eg raising the ticket prices, extending opening hours, etc.

The costs for Mayhem Manor is the building of the new log flume ride.

The revenue is the money coming in from ticket sales.

The link below takes you to a Google Sheet which I have set up as a template and has hints on how to calculate totals, and the Profit/Loss. There is also a link to the data or figures / numbers needed to input into the financial model

You will need to make a copy of the spreadsheet before you can use it (File - Make a Copy).

When you have completed it, please share it correctly (Share - Advanced - change from Private to Anyone at Cooper School with the link).

Copy/paste the link to your blog post with the website link already on it.

Theme Park Unit

In this unit you will be producing work as though you were working for a theme park company.

Here is a link to my slideshow which explains all the tasks you have to do, plus providing the info you need for each task.

This is the only post for this unit as you will be working through the slideshow tasks at your own pace (within reason - I'll be nagging those who, in my opinion, are working too slowly!).
